I am a certified healthcare ethics consultant, having earned the HEC-C credential from the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities in 2022. I have accrued 450 hours of clinical experience related to healthcare ethics consultation at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. These hours consisted of the following activities:

• Facilitating and assisting with individual ethics consultations and family meetings

• Participating in multidisciplinary rounds with hospitalists, case managers, social workers, and floor nurses to identify and address potential ethical issues

• Rounding with care teams in pulmonology, critical care, emergency medicine, surgery, trauma, behavioral health, and the LSUHSC residents and faculty to identify and address potential ethical issues, as well as to learn about their own experiences and decision-making strategies regarding ethics
